Story Behind the Art:
This handcrafted bamboo chime has been made by Kedek Setiawan who lives in a remote village in rural Indonesia. The technique of working with bamboo has been passed for many generations, transmitted from the elders. Kadek learned the bamboo furniture skills from his father and started making chimes for his children. He quickly discovered he had a creative side, for making his crafts.
